BLACKPINK 成員 Lisa 過去因一段練習生時期的唱跳影片陷入「N-word」爭議，如今她近日接受《Variety》專訪時表示，自己認為當年的行為確實需要道歉。她回憶，當時才從泰國前往韓國成為 YG 練習生，年紀還小，加上英文也不是母語，對這個詞彙背後涉及的種族歧視歷史並不了解，因此只是依照訓練內容準備歌曲、完成評鑑，沒有意識到其中的問題。

據了解，相關影片拍攝於 BLACKPINK 出道前的練習生時期，成員當時翻唱多首美國饒舌歌曲，其中出現具有種族歧視意味的「 N-word 」。影片直到 2025 年 3 月、 Lisa 首次登上Coachella個人舞台前夕遭到流出，隨即引發海外網友與粉絲批評。Lisa 表示，隨著年紀增長並接受更多相關教育，她逐漸理解這個詞彙所承載的歷史及傷害，也清楚知道當時的行為並不正確，強調自己現在絕對不會再使用這個字眼。

事件曝光後，Lisa遲遲沒有公開說明的原因也曝光。她在個人紀錄片《 Always Lalisa 》中透露，當時其實曾經與團隊討論，希望透過自己的公司 LLOUD 發表聲明，沒想到前東家 YG 娛樂不希望她對外回應，因此才始終沒有公開發聲。爭議延燒期間，她還甚至曾遇到大量的網路攻擊及死亡威脅，團隊也考量到人身安全問題，擔心公開回應反而讓事態擴大。如今 Lisa 再次談起這段經歷，也正式表達歉意，並表示自己已從過去的經驗中學習。
