Barkley 過去在節目中曾嘲諷 Durant 的兩座勇士冠軍「不算數」，稱他只是「坐在巴士上的乘客」而非真正的「司機」。Barkley 當時語帶輕蔑地說：「所有這些巴士乘客對我來說毫無意義，如果你沒開巴士，就別到處說你是冠軍。」當搭檔 Kenny Smith 追問他是否認為 Durant 是勇士的巴士司機時，Barkley 斬釘截鐵地回道：「不，我不這麼認為！」
