好萊塢深夜節目主持人吉米金莫最近再陷言論爭議。他在節目《 Jimmy Kimmel Live! 》中，以「準寡婦」形容美國第一夫人梅蘭妮亞川普，引爆白宮與總統川普不滿。巧合的是，節目播出不久後，華府就發生有人持槍闖入事件，讓這段玩笑被重新檢視，川普夫妻相當不開心，川普更要求電視台開除他。

吉米金莫「準寡婦」說惹怒川普
根據《 BBC 》報導，在上周的節目中，吉米金莫在短劇中針對川普跟梅蘭妮亞的年齡差來當作玩笑，並對著梅蘭妮亞的畫像說：「川普夫人，妳看起來閃閃發亮，就像個『準寡婦』一樣。」沒想到話才剛說完三天後，華府就發生槍擊事件，讓梅蘭妮亞相當不滿寫下「他的獨白不是喜劇，而是侵蝕美國、加深政治疾病的病毒。」

另外川普更是氣得要迪士尼與 ABC 電視台立即開除他。不過對於連番砲轟，吉米金莫則在節目中正面回應，強調當時只是針對兩人年齡差距的「輕度調侃」，否認任何鼓吹暴力的意圖，並指出自己長期反對槍枝暴力。同時重申「川普有權說他想說的話，你有權，我也有權，因為憲法第一修正案保障這件事」
