Kyrie Irving 曾經只用右手運球你信嗎？原是左撇子只因一個原因而成為「運球之王」！

Kyrie Irving 雖然場上場下爭議都多，但談到他的運球能力時，沒有太多人會有所質疑，大部分 NBA 球員在受訪時都認為他就是有史以來運球最強的球員。但你能相信他曾經可能只准用右手運球嗎？

Irving 出道以來就用蝴蝶穿花般的運球過人技巧，為自己贏得許多的粉絲，更可貴的是，他的運球兼具花俏和實用的特性，觀賞性十足的同時，還能在高水平的比賽中產生很好的效果。

不過 Ki 也表示，自己本來可能只能用右手運球，他在 Uninterrupted 媒體品牌的 The Shop 節目中時，向 Maverick Carter 表示向自己本來是左撇子，但因為一些原因，他被迫用右手運球。

「天主教學校不讓我用左手．．．我當時絕對是左撇子，但我因為用左手寫字而被打耳光，那間學校作風很老派，當時是 1996 年。」 Irving 表示因為這個原因，他那時開始用右手運球，也因此練就了兩隻手都能運的靈活性。

當被問到現在用左手運球的感覺時， Irving 直言現在自己已經感覺很自然了，因為自己的大腦已經兩邊都解鎖了

Irving 也表示這件事影響了自己後來看事情的視角，雖然曾經被迫不能用左手，但也因此開發了右手能力，對自己的職業生涯大有助益。
