火箭前鋒 Dillon Brooks 今日在接受媒體訪問時，再度點燃與勇士宿敵之間的火藥味。他在回應外界質疑隊友 Amen Thompson 動作過大的話題時，直言真正的「髒球員」其實是 Draymond Green，強調 Thompson與造成 Jimmy Butler 受傷一事無關。

Brooks：嘴綠才是髒球員
「我不覺得 Amen 是髒球員，那球是 Draymond 從後面推了一把，這不是正常的籃球動作，」Brooks 表示，「Jimmy當時只是在衝搶籃板，然後事情就發生了。Amen完全沒有問題，我們不會去理會這些批評，只希望 Butler 能早日康復。」

這番言論隨即引起勇士方面的回應。當記者將 Brooks 的說法轉述給勇士總教練Steve Kerr時，Kerr簡短地回應：「……Dillon 說的？嗯……很有趣……」語氣中帶著明顯的無奈與嘲諷。
勇士後衛 Moses Moody 則笑著補充：「這有點諷刺，不是嗎？」

Brooks過去曾弄傷GP II
值得一提的是，Brooks 過去就因爲動作爭議與勇士有過過節。2022 年西區準決賽時，他還效力灰熊，曾因一次對 Gary Payton II 的惡意犯規導致對方手肘骨折，讓 Payton 缺席多場比賽，直到總冠軍賽第二戰才復出。
至於這次爭議，事件起於系列賽第二戰首節， Butler 在一次快攻中被來自舊金山灣區的火箭新秀 Amen Thompson 疑似「剪刀腳」犯規導致骨盆受傷，目前仍被列為第三戰出賽成疑。儘管勇士主帥 Kerr 對 Thompson 的動作表示「並無惡意」，但 Brooks 的發言無疑再添火藥味。
火箭與勇士這兩支球隊近年來因季後賽恩怨而摩擦不斷，而Brooks與Green這兩位情緒鮮明的球員之間的針鋒相對，更為這場場外話題添上一筆。
